Exporters Trump The Game Again

It is just no secret that the US government is doing everything it can to enhance exports, and if your business is a teensy weensie bit interested in exporting, odds are that there is help AND financing for you.

The latest entry is financing for California community colleges. Now these colleges are in dire straights, and any help they get from anywhere is more than welcome. There could be financing for minorities, or financing for agriculture, or financing for any number of other things. But the money is specifically for training companies to export.

This actually is great for the economy and for small businesses as a whole. Most small businesses just don't bother looking into exporting, assuming that there is too much paperwork, or that there is no market for their goods.

It may be time to think again. For the foreseeable future, any company that can export will be ahead in the financing game. Got toys? Got clothing? Got printers? Got anything that consumers or businesses can use? Export, young entrepreneur! Export!

Head on back to your business plan, comb through it for any possible export options. Then contact the US Export Import Bank and/or SBA and see what they can do to help you make it happen.
