Forbes has come out with a list of 11 top industries that are attracting more than their share of venture capital. All of the usual suspects are there: green housing, biofuel, etc. But there are a couple of surprises too.
One of the big surprises is the interest in home entertainment. The theory is that in tough economic times, families stay at home for entertainment. The article mentions a TV application, but taking this theory to its logical conclusion, companies like Wii and home video and family game makers should do very well over the next few years.
